What Dissolves In Water?
  • Materials: Several clear plastic cups or containers.  Various food items (example- salt, peanut butter, spices, etc.)
  • Directions: Fill a bunch of small clear plastic cups/containers with water.  Gather random items from your kitchen (salt, peanut butter, spices, pasta, etc.).  Stir each item in the water and see if it dissolves.  It's amazing!

 Make A Floating Boat
  • Materials: Empty juice box with straw, scissors, scrap paper, tape.
  • Directions: Punch a hole in the middle of the side of an empty juice box with a knife or scissors.  Stick the straw into it.  Cut a triangle from paper to make a sail.  Tape the sail onto the straw.  Then bend the straw into the peak of the sail.  Float the boat in a tub or in a bin of water.  Ships ahoy!

Our Learning Gallery
Even though we are at home, some great learning is still taking place!  We would love it if families could send us pictures of their young learning engaging in activities so we can share them on Class Dojo and on the Liberty Learns website!  Check out this awesome toddler learning!  Pictures will be posted as they become available.
