Kindergarten Summer Camp Resources
Week 4: July 27th-31st
We heard from the owners of Blondie's Doughnuts and Cajou Creamery and learned all about making doughnuts and ice cream! Students were even able to see how cashew milk is made! For our final assignment students had to write, draw, or record a video about what kind of business they would open.

Week 3: July 20th-24th
We heard from the owner of Codetta Bakeshop here in Baltimore, MD. She taught us about starting a business and showed us some of her delicious creations. On Friday, students received a cupcake from her shop and completed a writing assignment using their five senses to describe the cupcake!

Week 2: July 13th-July 17th
We heard from Dr. Graham who is a veterinarian and learned all about how to take care of animals, how to know if they are sick, and what to do if they need help. We also heard from Dr. Brown who is a physical therapist. She taught us about the importance of stretching and taking care of your body so you can lead a long and healthy life!
Week 1: July 6th-July 10th
We started off the week talking about all of the different careers we want to have when we get older. We heard from Mrs. Douglas who is a high school teacher and also owns her own jewelry company! She taught us about the manufacturing process and how she turns her ideas into real pieces. We also heard from Mrs. Jackson who is an author. She taught us all about the writing process. Students brainstormed what they would write a book about if they were an author.
